THE SECOND FLOOR OF LOODS 23 WILL BE DIVIDED INTO 23 LOFTS. MORE THAN HALF OF THEM WILL HAVE A DIRECT VIEW OF THE HISTORICAL SEA CANAL THAT FLOWS FROM GHENT (BELGIUM) TO TERNEUZEN (HOLLAND).
The lofts on the 2nd floor of LOODS 23 will have a stylish entry hall on the side of Voorhavenlaan, with a wide and straight staircase and an oversized elevator, allowing for easy transport of bikes and strollers. The stairs and elevator will also connect to the underground car parking. At the entrance there will also be a doorbell system provided with videophones. LOODS 23 seeks to be a future proof project, providing technologically advanced solutions for your living space, including the intelligent BRING ME pick-up and delivery and post box system at the entrance. The system is fully automated, without any need for your presence. It will send a message to your mobile device when you receive mail or when your parcel or laundry gets delivered or collected.
The central corridor on the 2nd floor has an axis shift in the middle of the building, resulting in a mix of smaller and larger lofts both on the canal side and on the street side. The duplex lofts are now zoned for residential use. Our offering plan will also allow for other professional uses, e.g. lawyer, insurance broker, accountant, architecture practice etc.
At the entrance of every loft there will be an integrated doormat and LED accent lighting. The building permit for Loods 23 allows for the construction of a duplex at the 3rd floor level in all second floor lofts. The lofts are also suitable for other professions. An architect, graphic designer, or accountant living in Loods 23 can easily work from home. The act statutes of the building allow business functions, if they are not inconvenient. But today, the lofts are only permitted for living in accordance with the urban development regulation.
